SIMUN VI

Canvas for Change

SIMUN logo
The South Indian Model United Nations (SIMUN) is an annual conference hosted by The Indian Public School (TIPS), where delegates and chairs from across India meet to discuss and debate the pressing issues of the world, immersing themselves in the complex arena of world politics. By negotiating foreign policies tailored for our ever-changing global landscape, and implementing ground-breaking solutions, every delegate gets the opportunity to stand up for their convictions.
Why GRIDS at SIMUN VI?
If there’s one thing that GRIDS & SIMUN meet eye-to-eye about, it is their shared mission of bettering our society. This iteration of SIMUN, which focuses on the theme of “Navigating a Changing World”, is the perfect event to host GRIDS. Expanding on the goals of SIMUN, we are dedicated to provide every delegate with a hands-on experience -  not only do they get to reimagine a better future in their committee sessions, but they get to drive real, meaningful change in society.
Message form the SIMUN VI secretariat
Here at SIMUN, we believe in sparking thoughtful debates, tackling global issues, and driving meaningful change. But we’re not just diplomats in suits, we also aspire to turn our words into action. Enter GRIDS: where creativity meets impact, and everyone of you gets an opportunity to be the change you want to witness in the world.

As part of both the SIMUN VI Secretariat and the GRIDS team, we’ve recognised just how much these two worlds have in common. While SIMUN thrives on fostering big and bold ideas, GRIDS takes those and paints them into reality - literally.

This year, we’re so excited to bring GRIDS to SIMUN - it’s the perfect way to step out of your committee rooms, grab a paintbrush, and foster the change you set out drive in a hands-on and colorful way. Debate resolutions in the morning, paint GRIDS in the evening, and leave knowing you’ve made a difference. Together, we can embark on a mission to reimagine a better future, one where humans, nature and animals thrive on love and togetherness.

We can’t wait to see you at GRIDS!
